What, I can lose weight eating donuts?!

Yes you can! I have lost about 53 lbs in the last 2 years while still eating desserts like donuts and cheesecake. No I don't eat large portions of it, but I also don't eat it just once in a blue moon either. I enjoy a little of it almost every day. I know these so-called "junk foods" don't have much nutrition and won't earn any anti aging stars. However, just eating a small portion each day helps me stick to my healthy eating plan.

I eat 2 nutritious meals a day, plus 1 small dessert like a donut, and 2 servings of fresh fruit. I find it very easy to stick with the program. I don't feel cravings for anything and I exercise just 20 minutes a day.

Give it a try. It will work for you too.

Blueberries in Pies Give Smooth, Sexy Thighs!

Have you tried blueberry pie yet? It is delicious and if eaten in moderation, blueberry pie is a good, healthy dessert.

Blueberries contain more disease-fighting antioxidants than most fruit or vegetable. To assist in maintaining good health, antioxidant-rich blueberries are a great choice.

Blueberries are sweet but low in calories. Perfect for weight control, a cup of blueberries contain just 80 calories!

Aside from assisting with the protection from free radicals, the antioxidants in blueberries can also protect against other cell damage that results in signs of aging and wrinkled skin.

Researchers at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University found that 2/3s of a cup of blueberries provides the same antioxidant protection against free radicals as 1,773 IU of vitamin E or 1,270 milligrams of vitamin C.

Blueberries have lots of soluble fiber. This helps lower your cholesterol levels and is beneficial to the digestive system, adding bulk to stools without over-stimulating bowel movements.

Got any good blueberry recipes to share with the group?

To your health,
